seven years later
Anna & Ben first met in 2013 during their freshman year of college in a brief encounter through mutual friends. It wasn't until a year later, shortly after they "re-met" that they realized who the other one was on that September night. They soon had a mutual agreement to always be beer pong partners at parties, though they rarely won. Nights at parties turned to hanging out and binging Bob's Burgers as their friendship grew.

the beginning
Anna & Ben's first (unofficial) date was a night at the movies to see Kingsman. On March 28, 2015, the relationship became official, to the surprise of few who knew them at the time. They enjoyed AEPi's spring weekend, a few vacations, and Ben got to meet his only competition, Anna's horse Milton.

shenanigans
Their second year together brought more college antics and a summer apart as Anna lived in Columbus for an internship. Lucky for them, they were still able to fit in a trip to Cancun.

senior year
Anna & Ben both graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology, though they were unable to be at each other's ceremonies given they were held at the same time. They celebrated Ben's acceptance to law school and forged ahead with a move to Chicago (after trips to Italy and Mexico).

tequila shots?
Work hard, play hard seemed to be the motto for law school students as Anna & Ben navigated life with a full-time job and a demanding school schedule. Anna easily fell in with Ben's classmates, perhaps because she could offer a reprieve from the discussion of torts and con law.

nights at aragon
Anna & Ben began to take more advantage of the music scene in Chicago as their circle of friends grew. Life in the city became a bit easier to enjoy as the dreaded freshman year of law school had passed. They were thrilled to be moving out of downtown and closer to Wrigley Field.

graduation pt. 2
Though COVID may have put a damper on the occasions, Anna & Ben celebrated Ben's graduation from law school in addition to him passing the bar. Ben reciprocated support as Anna decided to begin her journey back to school. They were also thrilled to adopt two kittens, for a total of three cats.

come what may
The beginning of Anna & Ben's seventh year together has perhaps been the best so far. Ben proposed with a perfect plan after seeing Moulin Rouge in the city they've grown to love so much. They also enjoyed their first trip alone as a couple to Lakeside, MI and now get to plan a wedding!
